Little Birdie Policies - Terms of Service

Thank you for visiting Little Birdie! I have a LOVE of all things paper, I truly do... Mix that with fun designs, a little bit of dry humor, and exceptional quality and you get our unique line of paper goods, craft kits, and stationery accessories. Everything that you in see in Little Birdie’s store is imagined, designed, created, assembled and packaged by us and quality is always paramount.

• ABOUT OUR WORK •
Little Birdie items are produced, to order, on premium, eco-friendly paper. When available, the accompanying envelopes and boxes are made of recycled materials. All folding, cutting, corner rounding, bow tying, and assembling are done by hand therefore some variations may exist. I tend to believe that this is the beauty in handmade goods and I am venturing a guess that you do too!

Due to variations in monitors and printers, colors in the final product may differ slightly from what you see on your screen.

Prior to creating your personalized item, we will send you a proof to review. Please carefully check, and then double-check, your proofs to be certain everything is perfect before giving final approval. Any changes that incur additional charges following final approval will be your responsibility.

Little Birdie will include our name and/or logo on the back of each of our items. Only our Wedding invitation Suites are automatically created Logo Free (We know that there is a time and a place!)

* PAYMENT *
Your payment is due at time of purchase. We accept payments via PayPal and Directly through our site. Rhode Island residents will be charged 7 % RI State sales tax, which will be added in when finalizing your payment.

Little Birdie will not begin personalizing your order until payment is made and has cleared.

Final approval in writing (via e-mail) is required to begin printing. Printing typically begins immediately after approval is issued, and at this time no further changes can be made without incurring re-design costs. It is of utmost importance that you thoroughly read your proofs prior to signing for approval. Once approval is given, Little Birdie waives responsibility for any errors including typesetting, format, grammar, spelling, punctuation or otherwise. If you should choose to reprint after final approval is given, you will be responsible for all costs for production and printing.

* SHIPPING *
We know you are excited and just can’t wait another minute for your items, so all orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. In a perfect world, you should receive your purchase within 2-3 business days from date of shipment, if purchasing within the US.

WE WILL SHIP TO THE ADDRESS LISTED AT CHECKOUT. If you have any special instructions (i.e. your order is a gift, your mailman crams things in your post box, I have a new address, etc.), please do not hesitate to email us. We're happy to accommodate when we can!

Just like the Post Office, “If it Fits, It Ships.” We will do our best to consolidate multiple items to keep the cost of shipping as low as possible.

* REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES *
Your satisfaction is our top priority and we want to do everything possible to ensure that you are happy with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you have problems with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to correct the situation.

Due to the custom nature of our work, orders are not returnable or refundable.

Once orders leave our studio, there is little we can do regarding damages incurred during transit. Our items are packaged to protect them as best as possible. If your items are damaged in shipping, please let us know right away so that we can see what can be done.

* PHOTOGRAPHIC RIGHTS *
By submitting your photograph (s) to Little Birdie for use in custom stationery, you are certifying that you are the photographer or that you have express permission from the copyright holder to use the image. Little Birdie will not be liable for copyright infringement should you fail to receive permission for use.

* PRICE QUOTES *
Any pricing quote provided by Little Birdie is valid for 30 days. If you request a quote for a custom listing and do not purchase the item(s) within said 30 days, we reserve the right to revise pricing without notice.

* TURNAROUND TIMES *
Little Birdie would like to remind you that all of our items are hand-made and do take time to complete.
